Gwinnett Institute was initially established as Camelot Healthcare Training Institute and was purchased by JTC Education in 2012. With the purchase, the name was changed to Medtech Institute. In 2015, Medtech Institute was purchased by LTT Enterprises, Inc. as a branch of Gwinnett College in Lilburn, GA. After the purchase, the name was changed to Gwinnett Institute. The Orlando campus provides technical training for individuals interested in pursuing vocational careers in nursing and other medical fields.

Gwinnett Institute’s mission is to provide career focused vocational education for the purpose of gaining entry-level employment and advancement opportunities which will empower college students to positively contribute to their communities.
Gwinnett Institute, Orlando campus, is dedicated to the success of our vocational institute students and graduates; therefore, we provide career assistance and technical training from experienced career services personnel. Career Services is available to assist students throughout their technical training programs and continues to offer assistance beyond graduation. Some vocational programs require college students to complete a school externship course or clinical requirements at an off-site facility prior to program completion. It should be understood that the career services offered are not a guarantee of employment.
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) accredits Gwinnett Institute to award diplomas, academic associate degrees, and occupational associate degrees. Also, Gwinnett Institute’s Orlando campus is Licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, License No. 4249.
